Payments FAQ
YES! We are proud to continue offering free daily messages & energy for ALL users. Recharge your daily energy and messages for free every day in main menu and enjoy!
Premium subscribers get unlimited messaging, 1,500 daily energy, paid generation features, removed watermarks, video generation, and access to v2 generation galleries with Premium limits. Ultra includes everything in Premium, 10,000 daily energy, 35,000-energy model unlocks, higher generation limits, unlimited active galleries, unlimited images per gallery, parallel gallery preparation, photorealistic mode, prompt favorites, batch select, and other Ultra-only generation tools.
Premium is for everyday generation: up to 15 active galleries, up to 100 generated images per gallery, one active gallery generating at a time, up to 8 active generations in the current gallery, one gallery preparing at a time, and 50,000 energy model unlocks. Ultra is for power users: unlimited active galleries, unlimited images per gallery, parallel preparation, up to 25 active generation tasks across galleries, 35,000 energy model unlocks, photorealistic mode, favorites, batch select, and advanced generation controls.
Model unlocks reserve and prepare dedicated generation infrastructure. Premium unlocks cost 50,000 energy. Ultra unlocks cost 35,000 energy, so Ultra users save 15,000 energy, or 30%, on every model unlock.
Active Premium users should upgrade from Account > Subscription or from an Ultra feature popup. Stripe previews the allowed upgrade options and charges the prorated difference when applicable. If Stripe needs payment confirmation, you will be sent to the hosted invoice page. The Ultra tier applies after Stripe confirms the upgrade.
Automatic downgrades are not offered inside the app. You may cancel the current subscription and subscribe again to the plan you want after the paid period ends, or contact Support if you need help. Galleries unlocked or created on Ultra require Ultra later; if you return on Premium, those Ultra galleries stay visible but locked until you upgrade back to Ultra.
Your account becomes Free after the active paid period and grace period end. You can still see your gallery list, but paid gallery tools, preparation, editing, deleting, and generation are locked until you subscribe again. Premium and Ultra dedicated-server galleries that are not used for 14 days may be removed from our servers.
Energy packs add energy to your account, but they do not unlock subscription-only features. You still need an active Premium or Ultra subscription for paid v2 gallery access, and Ultra is required for Ultra-only features such as photorealistic mode, favorites, batch select, unlimited galleries, and higher parallel generation limits.
V2 galleries use dedicated generation infrastructure. Before a model can generate reliably, Chatrule may need to prepare model assets, LoRAs, embeddings, prompt defaults, and server readiness. Premium can prepare one gallery at a time; Ultra can prepare galleries in parallel.
The app will show an upgrade popup explaining the limit and what you can do next. For example, you may need to wait for an active gallery to finish, delete galleries or images, start fewer images, or upgrade to Ultra for higher or unlimited limits depending on the feature.
Subscriptions help us run chats, generation queues, dedicated gallery preparation, realtime infrastructure, storage, and model servers at scale. Preparing and generating with v2 galleries can require dedicated GPU/server resources, so paid tiers let us keep the experience reliable and expand more advanced features.
No! The quality of responses has not changed for anyone. The content outputted by our system is currently the same for all users.
Refunds are not typically provided for completed subscription periods, one-time energy purchases, or plan downgrades. If you believe there was a billing error or missing energy refund, review your Activity page and contact Support so we can investigate. Failed generation tasks may be eligible for automatic energy refunds.
Yes. You can cancel through Stripe or Account > Subscription, or contact Support and we can help. Cancellation stops future renewals; your current paid access remains available until the end of the billing period. Already-paid subscription time is not normally refunded.
All payments are processed through Stripe, which offers a variety of easy-to-use payment methods suitable for most countries. Please visit our checkout page to view the available payment options.
After your first payment, we may lock pricing to the billing country/payment history on your account to keep pricing consistent and prevent VPN-based price abuse. Stripe still handles the final charge, taxes, and supported payment methods.

General FAQ
Chatrule lets users chat with AI characters and create AI-generated media. Chats are now only for conversations with characters. New v2 image and video generation happens in dedicated galleries, where each unlocked model has its own gallery, preparation state, saved images, and generation tools.
Separating chats from generation makes the product clearer and more reliable. Chats keep conversation history and character interaction focused. Galleries handle model unlocks, preparation, generation queues, saved images, videos, realtime status, and gallery-specific controls.
A v2 gallery is a dedicated workspace for a specific generation model or style. It stores generated images/videos, tracks whether the model is prepared, shows realtime task status, and lets you continue generating from the same model without mixing it into chat history.
Preparation initializes the model assets needed for generation on our server infrastructure. It can involve loading or restoring model files, LoRAs, embeddings, defaults, and readiness checks. This can take time because the system has to make sure the model is actually available on generation servers before accepting tasks.
Generation servers have limited GPU and storage capacity. If a gallery or model is not used for a while, assets may be offloaded to keep the fleet healthy. When that happens, the gallery stays visible but may need preparation again before new generations can start.
If your Premium or Ultra subscription ends, you can still see your galleries list. Paid gallery actions are locked: you cannot prepare, generate, edit, delete, or use gallery tools until you subscribe again. Premium and Ultra dedicated-server galleries that are not used after 14 days may be automatically removed from our servers.
Galleries and model unlocks created on Ultra require Ultra infrastructure. If you later use Premium, those Ultra galleries remain visible but locked. You can still use eligible Premium galleries and unlock Premium galleries, but Ultra galleries cannot be edited, deleted, prepared, or generated from until you upgrade back to Ultra.
Parallel generation is limited to keep queues fair and prevent server overload. Premium can run up to 8 active generations in one gallery and can generate in one gallery at a time. Ultra can run up to 25 active generation tasks across galleries. If you hit a limit, wait for tasks to finish or upgrade to Ultra where available.
Some advanced models must be unlocked before you can create and prepare a gallery for them. Premium unlocks cost 50,000 energy. Ultra unlocks cost 35,000 energy. Unlocking is tied to your account and the required subscription tier used for that unlock.
If your energy was deducted without receiving the image or video, please check your Activity page in the main menu. Our system automatically refunds any missing energy due to connection issues. If the issue persists, please contact us through the Get Help page for prompt assistance.
Press on your account name (side panel above the gems) -> Manage account -> Update Profile and set your First Name. From now on all characters will call you by this name.
No, the characters in Chatrule are entirely powered by AI technology. Out system operate autonomously without any direct human oversight, offering responses that appear human-like while ensuring full privacy for user interactions.
The AI chatbots in Chatrule are built to empathize and respond to everyday experiences, joys, and challenges. Please refrain from discussing subjects that are prohibited by local laws to ensure a positive experience.
Chatrule carefully regulates adult content by enforcing clear boundaries. Explicit and violent material is strictly forbidden according to our terms of service, while we continue to support a wide array of character types within safe content parameters.
Yes, all conversations with the AI in Chatrule are private. Our system automatically filters content to comply with regional legal requirements. For further information, please review our privacy policy.
Due to inherent memory constraints, the AI is programmed to discard older conversations. We are actively working to enhance memory retention so that more interaction history can be maintained over time. Our subscribed users have much higher memory limit.
While Chatrule's AI offers engaging and helpful interactions, its responses may occasionally be inaccurate or unverified. We advise using your best judgment and consulting professionals for critical matters.
