By creating an account or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. What We Offer

Chatrule is an online learning and conversation platform. Pick a topic — languages, maths, science, history, writing, coding, study skills or general knowledge — and have a text conversation about it.

Replies are produced automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. They are for general educational and informational purposes only and are not professional advice. Please check anything important against reliable sources.

3. Your Account

Please give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details private, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Acceptable Use

Please use Chatrule respectfully. You agree not to:

• break the law or help anyone else to do so;
• post or request content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, violent or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience;
• infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights;
• submit work produced here as your own where your school or exam rules do not allow it;

5. Paid Plans, Cancellation and Refunds

Basic use is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. The price and billing period are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card number.

You can cancel at any time from your Account page. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, please contact us first so we can put it right.

6. Content and Ownership

What you write remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it so that we can run and improve the Website. The Website itself — its software, design, name and logo — belongs to Virede LLC.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

The Website is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virede LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Website, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using the Website and delete your account at any time from your Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Website means you accept it.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

Disputes that cannot be settled informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Delaware, USA, and not as part of a class action, subject to any consumer rights in your country that cannot be waived.
